Convenient, cheap, fast, and tasty, all these words are people use to describe fast food restaurants. Thus, how come people will stop going to fast food restaurant, and concern about their health. Some people argue that fast food restaurants are a major cause of child obesity, and they should show consumer the complete ingredients of their products, not only the healthy ingredients. 

Protect Online Gambling from Underage

Nowadays, not only adults are interested in online gambling, but also many teenagers play it illegally. In some people’s viewpoint they argue that online gambling should not be legal; underage will be addict to it. However, opponents think that legalizing internet gambling will protect underage.

I found out "Gender Inequality" pretty attract me when I was doing some research on this.
The information that I saw online had changed some of my value on this topic.
Many people think that there isn't any big difference treatment between men and women in the U.S. nowadays. However, there are still some issues that indicate the inequality between men and women!

My belief In Valentine's Day

• As we known, each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, chocolates, flowers, or gifts with their special "valentine."This romantic day, we called– Valentine's Day. When I did some research about Valentine's Day, I found out there are several version of stories for it. And there are few stories said that the origin of this holiday for the expression of love is not romantic as people thought.

IS Media Always Telling The Truth?

Nowadays people get most of the informations from media, and media influence people widely in both positive and negative ways. I'm going to focus more on the truth of media, and how badly can media influenced people in a negative way.

Classic Rhetoric Now (CH.2 p.23-28)

At first, the beginning of chapter two talks about the differences of Define and Explain.These two words can be very different from their Latin roots. For example, Define means to make finite, such as "confine." Explain gets more expansive sense from the ex-. To make things more clear, we explain it.
 After, in this chapter it will offer us tips not only for how to write, but also for how to go about thinking. However, we can still keep our own thinking, just learning other method of thinking. Later, the chapter talks a little bit about one of the Plato's dialogue, Phaedrus. And later lead to how Plato said about writing, such as useful tips and ideas for writing. Also, writing relate to clothing, language, and cultural. So chapter two mentions the history of ancient Greeks. The biggest issue was gender. At first, the women have more power. Nevertheless, the men took their power away.

Practice Makes Perfect (Skiing experience can tell)

I always believe that Practice Makes Perfect, and there are many ways to prove this belief.
Today I am going to tell the example of proving this belief– from my skiing experience. 
This weekend I went skiing with my friends, Evan, Allen, and my boyfriend Lester.
This was not the first time I went to ski, but only the third times. Since my hometown, Taiwan, a tropical island don't snow at all, I never ski before I moved to the U.S. However, the last time I skied was like two years ago, I can't remember how to ski at all.
